Consistently delicious! Excellent service and welcoming environment! Came with three friends, two of whom have never been here before and they all loved it! Two of my friends are Habesha so they know good Ethiopian food and they both declared this is the best in the Bay Area! Definitely our new spot! Will be back frequently!

Admas is a really lovely neighborhood spot. My partner and I have had dinner here every couple weeks since they opened. The food and value are both great (especially the meat/veggie combo). I usually get two meals worth of food every time I order. The Admas tea is also a sleeper hit - its a mix of honey, orange juice, spices and tea, and not like anything I've had before. I get that every time and it never gets old. Overall its exactly what you want out of a neighborhood restaurant. Good food, comfortable space, good prices, and very sweet/friendly staff.

Haven't been here for about a year but now I've gone four times in two weeks and it's as good as it was back then, everything. And if you're looking for a Sunday night dinner, they stay open till 10 PM. I can understand the two negative reviews below, it's true the staff have a kind of nonchalance but don't mistake that for insouciance. While not excusing it me thinks it's just being a very calm and relaxed peoples, they don't rush around like maniacs, but their food has always been delicious if not downright orgasmic and I love how they've designed the two rooms, if I could only use two words to describe the atmosphere it would be "elegantly casual", and also very clean and tidy, love the white table cloths.

My partner and I have been wanting to stop by this spot since it's opened in the neighborhood. We ordered the veggie and meat combo where you could pick and choose. We got some recommendations from the owner, and ordered the yebeg tibs, doro tibs, yellow lentils, collard greens, and a spicy beef that was off-menu (and really good!). He was kind enough to let us try the red lentils too (which I really liked!). It could have probably fed 3 people unless you're all starving. I was very full and we didn't finish. It's a humble spot with delicious and affordable Ethiopian food and good place for a dinner out when you don't feel like cooking!

I've visited Admas a few more times since my initial review. Portions for dinner are still small and may not be what you're expecting (based on the menu). HOWEVER, the ful breakfast is absolutely lovely My friend had the full version, and I had the vegan version today. It was just spicy enough, flavorful, and definitely enough food. Will return for brunch!!

I came here with my friends and we all shared a meat combo which includes injera and a variety of meats all which were delicious! It was enough food for all of us and we even had leftovers. It was great for the price of $38 which we split 3 ways. I had never had Ethiopian food before so I was very excited to try and I was very pleased! I'm excited to say that I've tried it now and loved it! As for parking, we were lucky to find a spot on the street right in front of the restaurant. The inside of the place was clean, aesthetic and had a nice ambiance. I highly recommend if you're looking to try a new cuisine or need a new place to try.

Admas is the Ethiopian-Eritrean spot we've been wanting and craving. I definitely feel like Admas is going to be a lovely addition to our greater Grand Lake neighborhood. I ordered the veggie platter as one does for takeout. I wish they didn't use styrofoam for packaging, but it did keep everything warm. AND y'all, the portions are fab, the veggie dishes are DIVINE and colorful, and injera so fluffy and delish. They also gave a complimentary vinagrette salad and one dry AF samosa. The samosa didn't hit for me, but I chowed down that salad so fast. Complimentary sides are something from pre-COVID times that I am so glad Admas is bringing back. My fave part was the injera bread and their stews: red lentil side (misir wat) took my breath AWAY, and their yellow split pea side was divine (kik alicha). I never had that bright pink/magenta beet side and I had to google it. The key sir alicha beet AND potato dish was SO unique, I could taste the ginger and ya girl was pleasantly intrigued. Collard greens was yummy as well. I loved ALL of their dishes in the veggie platter, and will def be coming back for that specific item. I loved that there were a few two-person parties inside the store. Seems like a nice, intimate spot for date night...it is on the quieter side though. But I like that there's the main area and a side room if you're looking for more privacy. It has the feel of stepping into a family friend's home. No outdoor seating though and limited street parking. Hospitable folks and small biz!
